A policy that works for your clients now, and later
Protective® Strategic Objectives II Variable Universal Life is designed to provide death benefit coverage and help your clients grow tax-deferred cash value over time that they can use to supplement retirement income. And Protective’s planning program — Defined Objectives® will help them stay on track. Protective Strategic Objectives II Variable Universal Life can be an important part of your clients’ overall financial plan for today and tomorrow.
Flexible premium, variable universal life insurance for those desiring both protection and the potential for tax-deferred growth of cash value that can be used to supplement income at certain times, like during retirement.
The Lapse Protection feature ensures the policy will remain in force for up to 15 years (depending on age) regardless of policy value, provided premium requirements (net of loans and withdrawals) are met. This feature protects against the risk of policy lapse from short-term market volatility during the Lapse Protection Period.
Premiums may be allocated to a Fixed Account or to a broad array of investment options
Accidental death benefit rider
This rider can provide coverage that pays an additional death benefit if the insured dies as the result of an accident.
Terminal illness/accelerated death benefit endorsement
Included at no extra charge, this optional benefit can accelerate a portion of the policy’s death benefit, if the insured has a qualifying terminal illness.
This provides one or more accelerated death benefit payments to the owner during a 12-month period, if the insured has a qualifying chronic illness and all terms and conditions are met.
